Southend On Sea Rape Crisis (SOSRC) is fully committed to the safeguarding of children, young people, and vulnerable adults, who come in contact with our service.

Management, staff, and volunteers, in this organisation recognise that the welfare of children is paramount and our services endeavour to safeguard children and young people.

SOSRC aims to create a safe and healthy environment for the young people with whom we work, and we are committed at all times to ensure the safety and protection of children.

SOSRC FUNDERS

SOS Rape Crisis policy is not to provide support to people who disclose, or have been accused of or investigated for sexual or violent offences.  However, in exceptional circumstances, the centre may decide to offer support to clients who fall into this category.   Decisions on whether support will be offered will be made on a case-by-case basis, and will be at the discretion of the centre.
